One of the fighters stepping into the ring during Preba Hao Saturday night will be Kyle Reyes, nicknamed “Boom”. He’s a prodigy of Guahan Top Team and has been around the mixed martial arts scene since he was a kid.
Boom will finally be making his MMA debut and has all the tools to be a successful fighter. ”I was supposed to fight when I was 16, but I was told that the Guam Boxing Commission wouldn’t let me fight,” he recalled. ”Now I’m going to fight and it’s time. Alex Castro and Joe Duarte have been training me. They are helping me with Jiu-jitsu and my standup.
“Most people know me for my Jiu-jitsu because I always joined Jiu-jitsu tournaments, but since Alex and Joe have been helping me with my stand up I plan to keep the fight standing.”
